This Week...

This week we will have our regular practices. Tuesday from 5-6:30 pm and on Friday beginning at 3:30 pm (younger kids) and 4:30 pm for the older kids.

The coaches have decided to do "Tournament MVP's", instead of a "Wrestler of the Month".  This will give more kids the opportunity to win the award, plus be rewarded for working hard at BOTH practices and tournaments.

There aren't any little league tournaments scheduled for this weekend (that we know of) since it's the Junior High State tournament. So our next tournament will be Super State in Heber City on February 8th and 9th. If you are planning on going to Super State, please get registered as soon as possible. If you register by January 30th, your wrestlers name will be printed on the back of the shirts that they sell at the tournament. The official deadline for registration is MIDNIGHT on February 6th. Beehive Brawl pictures and results

The Team Takedown wrestlers were AMAZING at the Beehive Brawl! We had four wrestlers place; Kylan took 2nd place, Damon and Tezlin took 5th place, and Keegan took 6th.

Beehive Brawl Weigh Ins

Tomorrow are weigh in's for the Beehive Brawl from 3-7 pm in Richfield at the Events Center. The Brawl starts at 9 am on Saturday, but please have your wrestler there around 8 to warm up and find his mat.

**Please remember we will NOT be having our Friday practice this week, due to all the coaches going to the weigh ins for the Beehive Brawl. We will see everyone at practice on Tuesday at 5 pm.**

This Week

This coming week is the Beehive Brawl. If you haven't signed up yet, you don't have much time! The deadline is TOMORROW (January 21) at midnight. You sign up on trackwrestling.com, and you must have a USA card. If you haven't seen the flyer yet, click here.

Weigh in's for the Brawl are Friday, January 25th, from 3:00-7:00 pm (in Richfield). Due to the weigh in's, we WILL NOT be having Friday practice. We will still have practice on Tuesday from 5:00-6:30 pm.

This Week...

We will have practice as scheduled this week. Tuesday from 5-6:30 and on Friday at 3:30 for the younger kids and 4:30 for the older kids.

There is a tournament in Juab on Saturday (January 19th). You can see the even flyer here.  The middle school age kids will start at 9 am and must have a USA card to participate. Pre-K thru 4th grade will begin at 1 pm, and do not require a USA card. We will have weigh-ins after practice on Friday.

This Week

We will be having practices as scheduled this week. Tuesday from 5 to 6:30, and then on Friday with the little kids beginning at 3:30, and the older kids at 4:30.

There are a couple of tournaments coming up, and you need to get registered if you are planning on going. The first is the Beehive Brawl. This is a big tournament in Richfield on January 26th, with wrestlers from all over the country participating. Weigh in's will be in Richfield on Friday, January 25th. They are capping this tournament at 1500 wrestlers, so please register as early as possible. Click here for more information.

Super State is on February 8th at 9th in Heber. You can click here for the event flyer. This is a Utah only tournament.

You will need to register for both tournaments on Track Wrestling. Please don't wait until the last minute to register. They put a cap these tournaments, and they also have strict deadlines for registration. Both tournaments require a USA card to participate. If you still haven't purchased a USA card, you can do that here.

Les Gutches Clinic

Don't forget that tonight is the clinic offered by Les Gutches. It starts at 5:00 pm and will end around 8:30 pm. Click here for the camp flyer.

Also, don't forget that we are having practice tomorrow, but only for the older kids. It will begin at 4:30 pm.

This Week...

We will be having practice tomorrow (January 1st). The younger kids will begin at 4 pm, and the older kids at 5 pm.

There will not be practice on Friday for the younger kids. The older ones will start at 4:30 pm.

Don't forget about the wrestling clinic on Thursday in Richfield with Les Gutches. You must have the $40 USA card to attend. If you don't have the card, you can purchase it online here.  You will be responsible to get your wrestler to and from the clinic. We are not attending this clinic as a team, so if you have a young wrestler that may need some help, please plan on staying with them. Click here for the clinic flyer.

Caleb Williams Memorial Pictures

We had an awesome day at the Caleb Williams Memorial Tournament! The boys did great, and we walked away with two second place medals and one first place medal.

Thanksgiving Practice Schedule

Since next week is Thanksgiving, we will only be having our Tuesday practice. NO PRACTICE NEXT FRIDAY!

Fundraiser

Fundraiser pickups are TOMORROW (Friday, November 16th)! Please be to the gym by Noon to pick up your orders. And just another reminder, weigh ins for this weekend's tournament are TONIGHT at 6:00!

Caleb Williams Memorial Tournament

This Saturday we will be attending the Caleb Williams Memorial Tournament in Spanish Fork. The tournament starts at 8 am for grades PreK-3. 4-9th grades begin at 11 am. You can access the tournament flyer here.

You MUST have a USA Card in order to attend this tournament, and register online at Track Wrestling. If you don't have your USA Card yet, you can purchase one here. To sign up for the tournament, go to TrackWrestling.com.

We will do weigh-ins Thursday night at the gym from 6 to 6:30 pm. We will have practice as scheduled on Friday.
